Sometimes, we assume too much. We assume we know. But we don't. Sometimes during conversations you would just agree when in fact, you have just heard that for the first time. Maybe it's my personality and my character, ego? I wouldn't want to look stupid. I mean who wants to look stupid. Im okay with fooling around but, I don't like to look like a fool in people's eyes. Sometimes, I feel that I just don't know much. Like a fool in his own world.
It's true that content out there is nearly infinite, yet I still feel largely inadequate about my knowledge. Maybe it's general knowledge, news, facts, the way things are, I don't know.

Honestly, I'm narrow minded. I hardly consider about grey area, I pick sides too quickly, I always go for what's correct to most people, Most people. I hardly have my own opinions. Do I think too little about stuff? Do you think I should think about stuff. What the hell.

A levels just ended 18 days ago. I had so many plans, yet none of them are done. Well, I have one event as a volunteer tomorrow at Zhenghua CC. I wanted to learn photography,create my own 3D game object and submit it to TF2, relearn swimming, gym. And while writing all this, what I fear most about all these, is failure. Why would I be so afraid about failing. Is it because I don't want to be laughed at? Another thing is that I have my own insecurities, damn imma man, I don't have a strong will to push towards my goals. No motivation through love, demotivation through fear; what you get is a stalemate.

This weekend I've lost another war. A war that goes on within my head. A war that pits should versus wants, and that want is winning. Procrastination prevails. Sigh.

The same old situation happens again and again and again, and worse thing is not feeling shameful about yourself. Instead, feeling shameful IS a good sign, which is what this post is all about. It's a form of reflection, to think why and how you have lost the war of should versus want. The bad thing is, at the end of the day, wants are going to screw you and your life over and just leave you at a corner. Should is going to guide you along your little markers in life and at the end of the day, make you feel more satisfied and accomplished, which much better than impulsed satisfaction which on the contrary, makes you feel guilty.

I don't know how many more blog posts I'm going to need to remind myself.

Ahh, I've been wanting to change my blog layout for very long alr! Just that I got no time! >:(
I have alot of work piling up(trying my best to clear em) and seriously Week B is a Bad week. B for bad. 7.30 lessons 3 days in a row, which unfortunately I have to learn to live with. My week A has no 7.30 lessons at all, so you can imagine. One week i can wake up at 7+ to 8am while one week i have to wake at 6.30 in a row. Week B is pack with tutorials by the way, more than week A.So here goes 1/2 of my experience of week B in term 3 for the first time.

On another note;
My brother got a 5 day leave from NS(his own self declared break) so he was free to bring my mum to see a doctor. She said he was experienced with treating spinal injuries and cervical spondolysis involves the spine! Heard from my daddy(he was there too) that he pressed and "cracked" alot of my mum's bones to relieve the pain and pressure of the bones on the nerves, which somehow startled and amazed my brother at the same time. Couldn't be with mum at the time cos I was in SCHOOL.

I really feel sad for my mum cos she always cannot sleep properly. Max 1 hour of sleep- Imagine that happens to you, everyday. But know I can see that she is getting better, complained less about the pain :) Yes, it's a burning painful sensation and even though I didn't experience it myself, I can see how pain it is. Worse thing is that this pain will last with her forever(unless a cure is found, hopefully! :X). Good thing is that I'm doing more housework now, and my little sister and elder brother are all helping with housework!

Supposed to be doing work! Nevermind. BACK TO WORK.

Went to Ma Maison at Central with family except elder brother for dinner today.
Its a Japanese western diner. Really good atmosphere for dates :)
Really awesome food, sorry there's no pictures. No camera!
Had escargot as appetizer. I've got to say it's my first time eating that and its good.
After wards I had this seafood pasta which was refreshing.
Next came the crispy succulent Tonkatsu with this Japanese tangy sauce that comes with it. Mmmm.
Wash it down with complementary vanilla icecream and dry ginger ale. Awesome.
Went to Haagen Dazs for belgian chocolate. Really liked it so I got a tub of it. Now in the freezer waiting to be gobbled up. Oh really fattening but good night.

Just saw the biology promotional exam answers and hmm....crap.
Well, i can only blame myself for not giving myself time for bio.
I never liked memorizing stuff and bio is the only subject that...argh. I need time to throw away all those mis-learned biology content.

Went to Ngee Ann primary school and performed magic to a 30+ strong crowd.
Majority of them were children;active,lacked attention span,and full of potential. These children are primarily from low-income or single-parent families. Many of these children have little or no parental care and are at risk of falling into bad company.

On stage i performed vanishing silk with 2 other guys and did solo for rope trio!
I was concentrating too much on my magic and even though i engaged my audience,i guess i saw smiles.I was further reassured when one of the magic instructors was impressed as he told me many of them smiled. Yippie :D

After going off stage,a boy approached me. He is a bubbly and cheery boy that has great interest in magic. That's the way to go, interest in something! He asked me how the trick worked but well, being a magician i cant disclose that! Instead,i performed another different trick, exclusive to only a few people,in hopes of firing his interest in magic to greater heights. Despite his age,im pretty impressed by his innocent interest.

Even a young kid dares to pursue his interests. Its a shame that some people prioritize salary more than interest when picking their careers.

Honestly it's a great experience,and ITS FUN. I used spongebob characters to engage the children and surprisingly,they responded well.I just love those great responses.Plus there is a need to perform even more energetically as this kids will lose their attention easily.

We evolved.Physically,at a disadvantage,but mentally at and advantage.Knowledge was obviously a better tool for survival than pure instincts itself.We then got rid of our handicap against creatures;like us who belong to nature.We are no longer afraid of our physical disabilities like running as fast as cheetahs nor flying to escape from danger.Our knowledge itself,created tools for self-defense and assurance for survival.Man out-ruled the wild.Centuries passed and innovations continued to burst down along the homosapiens history.As physically towards nature,it mattered no more.Now,our only enemy is us ourselves? Men from various continents compete,in search of wealth and their personal interests.It was,and is the time for competition of knowledge itself.Your attitude,your mindset,how much you think,what you think about,will most likely determine your position in this race to survive.

Humans,are born to learn from other humans.

Even the moment when we arrive onto earth,we begin to hear,and soon see,feel and smell.Learning and processing any input from the environment.

Anyway,did you know?The first bond between baby and mother is through smell.

so dont let your baby smell dog poo when he is just born.HAHAHA JOKING

Example,when a baby sees an adult stick his/her tongue out,the baby can immediately copy and stick it's tougue out.That's when a new neuro connection is formed.

So,back to my point;always listen to someone of a bigger age than you.Wisdom grows with age,when you age,you reflect on your many experiences you have gained.Thats where you gain wisdom,an increase in the maturity of your thinking.So a person older than you might be wiser than you think he/she is.That is because he/she,is simply experienced much more than YOU THINK.

Side note...some guys just put too much pride into the game that they play.
